313-JP is a fretless bass guitar which was inspired by one of the all-time great legends. In fact, The "JP" in the name stands for Jaco Pastorius. Jaco famously pulled the metal frets out of his own Fender Jazz Bass and filled the remaining slots with wood putty, creating the iconic "lined fretless" look that this bass pays homage to. If you run your hand down the neck of the Aria Pro II 313-JP Detroit, the fretboard will feel completely smooth and flat with no metal ridges sticking out.
Roasted maple neck and fretless rosewood fingerboard generate a superior vintage tone and open-pore satin finish maximize its body resonance as well as completing the stunning appearance. Equipped with alnico-5 pickups, tonally very versatile for any bass players.
